A man has been taken to the hospital after being freed from under a bus.

Emergency services as well as the PSNI, the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service & the Ambulance service remain at Custom House Square on Saturday where the incident took place.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received the call at 11.22 to reports that a man had slipped & was hit by a bus.

Crews remain at the scene where the man is being treated.

Translink has cautioned that there’ll be delays to the east Belfast services.
