Nicole Addimando has been accused of fatally shooting Christopher Grover, 30, at their apartment complex in Poughkeepsie, New York.

According to the Poughkeepsie Journal, police say Addimando flagged down a patrol car at 2.15am Thursday to report there had been an 'incident' with her boyfriend.

Addimando was arraigned in the Town of Poughkeepsie Justice Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail without bail.

Grover was the head coach at Mr. Todd's Gymnastics.

Addimando used to work at the gym but is now a stay-at-home mom.

The gym's owners wrote in a public Facebook post: 'Our head coach, Chris, was taken from us yesterday &my thoughts go out to his family.

Lisa Rosten, a friend of Addimando, told the Journal the charges seemed out of character for the stay-at-home mom.
