Liverpool new boy Edvard Tagseth
has said that prior to agreeing a move to the Reds in 2015, both Manchester
City & Manchester United wanted him, while he had a trial at Everton at the
age of just 13.
The Anfield outfit agreed to sign Tagseth in May 2015, but
the move was done only this summer upon the midfielder turning 16 years old.
Tagseth, who formerly represented Norwegian outfit Neset FK , has already
turned out for the Liverpool Under-18 team under the stewardship of Steven Gerrard
following his arrival.
The teenager explained that besides Everton & Manchester
United, Manchester City were also keen to snap him up before he agreed a move
to Liverpool in the summer of 2015.
"I went there a couple of times before Man United
wanted me."
"I played a tournament, there were some scouts there I
think & then Man City wanted me in April 2015 before I went to Liverpool in
May.".
"It was always my dream to play for Liverpool &
when they wanted to sign me, I couldn't say no to that."
