According to report, a drunk man was arrested by the officials of the Lagos state police Rapid Response Squad for raising false alarm that his car was stolen while he forgot it at at a beer parlor when he got drunk a night before.

It was gathered that the man identified has Jude, a resident of Anthony Village was arrested last Friday after he drank himself to stupor and forgot his car at a beer parlour and went home. And at about 3.30am the next day, he went to the police station to lodge a complain that his car had been stolen from his residence where he packed it, but during police investigations the car was recovered where it was parked few meters away from the beer parlour with all items in it intact, while he was then detained briefly and counselled before he was later freed to go home.
