A father who hit his 2-day-old baby daughter to death because she wouldn’t stop crying has been sentenced to life imprisonment.

Liam Deane, 22, lost his temper with baby Luna & subjected her to a dreadful assault at their home in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Leeds Crown Court was told Deane flipped during the night when Luna won’t stop crying.

Luna was born on July 9 2017 & on the day after the attack Deane told Ms Bissett the baby had fallen.

Deane broke down when interrogated by police & admitted he was responsible for attacking the baby.

It said: “Seeing Luna on life support in the hospital will last with me forever.”

Deane was given a life sentence & was told he must serve a minimum of 10 years in prison.
