The Police Commissioner in Osun, Mr Fimihan Adeoye, today advised promoted officers in the command to put in their best to substantiate their new designation.

The police boss likewise called on the new SPs to be prepared for the task ahead, adding that they would be commanding police divisions & would likely become police division heads.

The officers are: 8 Deputy Superintendents of Police, promoted to Superintendent of Police & 82 Police Inspectors promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Police.

He also tasked the officers concerned to justify the trust reposed on them by Inspector-General & the police by refusing do anything that would put the Nigeria police to shame.

Adeoye thanked the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, for recommending the officers to the Police Service Commission for promotion.
