Alexis Sanchez might have missed out on a deadline-day move to Manchester City but the wantaway Arsenal star appeared in high spirits at the club's photocall.

Arsene Wenger & his under-fire players posed for their first-team squad picture at the Premier League club's London Colney training base.

Regardless of being expected to leave, the pair remained at the club & were therefore part of the squad's photo day on Tuesday.

Sanchez looked delighted to be part of the day, smiling alongside Nacho Monreal & Hector Bellerin in spite of failing to seal a move to City. The general mood around the camp appeared to be positive, with Danny Welbeck enjoying a joke with France defender Laurent Koscielny.

In a video posted on the club's Twitter page, Mesut Ozil led the youngster to a space in front of manager Wenger, & he was fortunate enough to get involved in a snap.

The midfielder is now in line to make his first debut for the club since leaving on loan for Bournemouth last season.

Sanchez, Olivier Giroud & Theo Walcott could likewise feature as Wenger looks to maintain his squad's sharpness & fitness.
