The police command in Bayelsa State has confirmed suspected armed men attack at the Kolo Police Station located in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The attack which left a policeman dead & some injured
started at a check point close to the station.
According to report, the suspected militants had attacked &
abducted a boat owner along Ekeremor Local Government Area of the state.
The attack on the police officers on duty was aimed at
stealing arms & ammunition.
The state Police command has assured the public details from the Police Public Relations unit.
