Manchester United Nominates Player Of The Month For September

The Red Devils have announced their player of the month for September & it is not Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku who had impressed.

Lukaku has taken his game to a new level having left Everton for Old Trafford in the summer & was expected for the award.

The Belgian has scored 10 goals so far for Manchester United in both the Premier League & the Champions League.

The Red Devils have seemingly chosen Frenchman Anthony Martial as their player of the month.

The Wideman has as well impressed during the start of the season & has seemingly recaptured some of his best form.

Martial at present has 4 goals & 4 assists since the start of the season with the majority of them coming off the bench.

Even still, Manchester have voted for Martial for their player of the month in Sept. which says a lot for his impact off the substitutes bench.

Romelu Lukaku will clearly be disappointed but if the Belgian carry on his incredibly impressive form, he will no doubt get himself one soon.

Martial in the meantime will be doing his best to break into Jose Mourinho's starting lineup for the rest of the season.

While both Anthony Martial & Romelu Lukaku have impressed, Zlatan Ibrahimovic watches on from the sidelines. That is because the player is still recovering from an ACL injury towards the starting of 2017 & is aiming for a 2018 return. That’ll mean that one player will be dropping out of the side in due course when the player does come back if he gets into the side at all.

In spite of that, Zlatan has now picked up a very startling hobby to occupy his time.
