The opening goal of the Premier League matchup between
Manchester United & Everton this afternoon came courtesy of an unbelievable
strike from Red Devils defender Antonio
Valencia .
The 2 sides went head-to-head at Old Trafford in contrasting
runs of form, with United having only failed to win one match so far this
season, a hard-fought 2-all draw at Stoke.
Everton entered today's clash on the back of repeated 3-0
losses, first at home to Tottenham last weekend, & then away to Atalanta in
the Europa League on Thursday night.
Toffees boss Ronald
Koeman would’ve been hoping for a
solid opening half-hour in Manchester.
This proved to be far from the case, as Jose Mourinho 's
side took the lead in the most spectacular of fashions with just four minutes
on the clock.
The goal came after a clear-cut pass was played across the
pitch by United midfielder Nemanja Matic towards Antonio Valencia ,
who had made his way up from his right-back berth.
