Manchester City’s striker Sergio Aguero has been wounded in a car crash in Holl&, according to reports.

The 29-year-old was coming back from a concert in Amsterdam when the taxi he was travelling in allegedly smashed into a lamp post.

Aguero was in Amsterdam to watch a Columbian singer Maluna perform, but the taxi he was going in left the road. Reports have suggested theplayer only escaped severe wounds because he was wearing a seatbelt.

Manchester City are yet to comment on the alleged incident.

The striker was close to reaching a goal-scoring record for Man City & needed to score just 2 more goals to become the club's all time leading scorer.

The nonappearance of Aguero would be a big blow for City ahead of their crucial game with champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

City are already without defender Benjamin Mendy after it was confirmed on Thursday evening that the France international had ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
